Counselor Role & Philosophy

As a counselor in training, my role is to provide essential academic, social, and emotional support during a pivotal stage of student growth. Counseling offers a safe, confidential space for students to explore their concerns and make personal goals. Through individual counseling, collaboration with families and staff, and data-informed practices, the counselor works to ensure each student's well-being and success. My philosophy centers on empowering students with positive coping strategies, conflict-resolution skills, and confidence to navigate adolescence with resilience. As an advocate for every learner, I strive to help students feel supported, understood, and equipped to thrive throughout their middle school experience.
